The Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO), announces with great shock and sense of loss, the gruesome murder of two hardworking and enterprising staff of the BECO Comprehensive High School Kwi, Riyom LGA of Plateau state. The sad event occurred this afternoon, August 14, 2023, when a group of Fulani terrorists invaded the school and opened fire on the teachers, who were having a meeting.

The deceased, Mr Davou Rwang Danladi and Sandra Rwang Danladi, a couple who wedded early this year, were teaching staff in the school. We are saved the devastation of a far worse outcome, had the invasion occurred when students were in session. By this dastardly act the school and the entire Berom nation has lost two promising youths. BECO condoles the staff, students, the Kwi community, bereaved parents and relations. May their gentle souls rest in peace.
