It is with devastating shock and utmost sadness, that the BECO Secretariat received the news of the sudden death of Rwas Dung Chollom Davou. The deceased, generally referred to as the Civilian General, had interacted with us on a number of occasions, all on the very important issue of facilitating the enlistment of our young men and women into the military. It’s with gratitude to God that we state with joy, that the efforts paid off well.
- From the period he worked with the late Maj. Gen. A L Dusu, to Hon Simon Mwadkon and then Sen I D Gyang, Rwas Dung Davou demonstrated an uncommon passion for youth empowerment and genuine love for the land.
- While we deeply condole with his family in particular and Heipang district, in general, we know that Beromland has lost a selfless and gallant fighter. We in the BECO Secretariat will sorely miss his gentle, kind and humble disposition. We pray God to grant his gentle soul eternal rest and the bereaved family, the fortitude to bear the sad loss.
