His Royal Highness, Da Jacob Gyang Buba (born October 10, 1951) is a distinguished Nigerian traditional ruler and retired customs officer. He serves as the Gbong Gwom Jos, the paramount traditional ruler of the Berom Kingdom, and is the 5th Gbong Gwom Jos, succeeding the late Da Victor Dung Pam.

Da Gyang Buba was born in 1951 at Madu Village of Du District, Jos South, Plateau State. He is the first son of Buba Dung Bot of the Lo Du, Lo-Wet family and Ngo Kaneng Buba, one of the ruling houses of the kingdom. His lineage is deeply rooted in the Berom royal heritage, positioning him as a custodian of the rich cultural traditions of the Berom people.

Beyond his traditional duties, Da Gyang Buba is a respected elder statesman who has contributed significantly to national development through his service in the Nigeria Customs Service and his role in the 2014 National Conference. He is also an ordained member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, reflecting his deep spiritual commitment.
