The President of the Berom Educational and Cultural Organization (BECO) led a high powered delegation to condole with the families of late Da Coach Bitrus Gwom Chung of Foron District and late Da Gabriel Tongwong of Vwang district.
Before his death, Late coach Bitrus Gwong Chung was BECO’s chairman standing committee on sports, where he showed uncommon zeal and drive towards achieving the committee’s terms of reference.
The BECO President Da Gyang Dudu eulogized the deceased and when down memory lane how they have fraternized years back.
The Secretary General Da Chollom Gyang who doubles as a cousin and friend to the deceased narrated the events that led to the dead of Coach Bitrus Gwong Chung, he said BECO will dearly miss him.
Speaking on behalf of Sports standing committee, Mr Steven Gacha and Silas Dung both narrated how easy going late coach was in the discharge of his assignment as chairman.
Also in attendance was the commissioner for science and technology Mr Dung Gyang Musa who also eulogized the deceased and pray God to grant him eternity.
Responding on behalf of the family, a younger brother to the deceased who could not hold back his tears, thanked BECO for the show of love and care.
In the same vein, the delegation was on the same mission to the family of late Da Gabriel Tongwong who until his dead was the president of Vwang Community Development Association, Da Tongwong died after a protracted illness which brought a lot of pains to the family.
The BECO president pray for comfort upon the family, he asked God to strengthen the entire family especially the wife of the deceased who was visibly in pains. The president described how painful the dead of a love one can be.
BECO’s Secretary general Da Chollom Gyang also mourned the deceased as he said words of encouragement to the family.
Responding on behalf of the family, Mr Yohanna appreciated BECO for the show of love, he said the family is encouraged by the visit.
