As part Of activities marking their graduation which is coming up next month, July 2023, students of Architecture Department University of Jos embarked on the production of documentary of famous Berom compound at the Jos Museum popular known as “LA’LA Berom which stands out amongst Others. Led by the Head, Department of Architecture University of Jos Arch Dr. Lekjep Ripnung Shem (mni) who was represented by the lecturer in the department Arch Jonathan Chong. Mr Chong presented a letter of visitation as well as portraits of architectural design of La’La Berom.

The students played a video documentary describing the rich culture and tradition of the Berom people embedded in a typical Berom family and society at large.
Laying emphasis on the theme “Architecture sustenability building materials” which focuses on the importance material mix that can sustain an edifice for a considerable period of time.

Responding separately, Da Chollom Gyang, BECO Secretary General and Da Jonathan Chundusu, Vice President appreciated the students for a detail documentary which showcases the richness of Berom culture to the world. They all assured the students to call any time should they require additional information regarding culture and tradition of the Berom people.
