In a brief but colourful ceremony held at its secretariat in Bukuru, Jos South LGA, today the 30th of May 2023, the Electoral Committee for the Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO) elections 2023 presented certificates of return to the newly elected Executive Officers. Recall the election was conducted on the 20th of May, 2023, though emerged through an affirmation as there was no contestant to challenge the re-election of immediate past EXCO.

Presenting the certificates of return to the newly elected officials by the Secretary of the electoral committee Ngo Simi Goshwe on behalf of the Chairman Prof Adamu Pam, Ngo Goshwe urged the officials to double their effort towards service for the land, and also reiterated the saying “To whom much is given much is expected”. Responding on behalf of the new EXCO, BECO President – elect, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop thanked the entire Berom nation for the confidence they reposed in them and for the opportunity to serve in that capacity again for another term. He gave an assurance that they will outdo the precious term.

The ceremony which witnessed the presence of BEWDA President, Ngo Abigail Banga (represented), BYM President, Rw Solomon Mwantiri, Chairman of the Districts Development Associations, Da Silas Bot, the RCC Chairman of Gyel, Rev Elisha Davou, and other sons and daughters of Berom land from various districts.

The new executives will be sworn at a later date to be announced by the Electoral Committee.
