Towards effective planning of its forthcoming world Congress, The Berom Educational and Cultural Organization (BECO) today inaugurated a sixteen man committee to plan a befitting congress. The inauguration took place at BECO Secretariat, No.2 John Dankaro Crescent, off Jonah Jang Road, Behind Corona School Bukuru.
Addressing the committee members before the inauguration, BECO President Worldwide, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop spoke passionately on the need to drive the Berom nation towards having an agenda which will be handed to the next generation, he called for all Berom sons and daughters to be committed in the affairs of the land such politics, education, land preservation and mining related matters.
The President made it known to the committee members that the choice of them wasn’t an error, but a careful selection, he urged them not to take for granted the honour as the entire Berom nation will be watching to assess their performance at the end of the event. After the charge, the President officially inaugurated the committee.
The forthcoming congress is scheduled for 25th and 26th of April 2025 which will commence with a symposium with a suitable topic to fit the event, the next day will be a congress meeting where Berom sons and daughters from all walks of life are expected to attend.
Responding and accepting responsibilities on behalf of the committee members, Secretary of the committee Mr David Mancha thanked the leadership of BECO for bestowing trust and founding them worthy to serve, he promised that the committee will deliver diligently according to their terms of reference with an assurance to exceed expectation.
