The running mate to the PDP candidate for Plateau state in the forthcoming general election Ngo Josephine Piyo paid a courtesy visit to apex body of Berom organizations: Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO). Ngo Piyo told her host that it’s important she acknowledge BECO as her first point of contact to seek for blessings towards her journey as the campaign draw near.
Speaking on her selection as running mate to the gubernatorial candidate Barr Caleb Mutfwang, Ngo Piyo described it as a divine arrangement which beats man’s imagination. She said God bestows leadership on whosoever he desires regardless of class, status, or gender. Ngo Piyo solicited for prayer from all Berom sons and daughters as the campaign get heated.
In a reaction, BECO’s Secretary General Da Chollom Gyang encouraged Ngo Piyo to be courageous and dogged even as the journey gets tougher. He described her selection as an act of God which everyone must appreciate.
Reacting to the parley, BECO President Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop was visibly joyful for the visit. He emphasized that Ngo Piyo’s visit marks the second visit any politician from the PDP would visit the secretariat, he frown at how the Berom people have little or no respect for people they saddled with responsibilities. Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop prayed for the success of the mandate given to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) come 2023.
