Old Students of BECO Comprehensive High school Kwi today held their first ever reunion service, thanksgiving service as well as award presentation to some deserving dignatories. The reunion service which conveyed the theme “Harnessing Alumni Network for Economic Empowerment: Overcoming Challenges and Charting a Sustainable Path Forward”.
In his welcome address, BEKOSA President Mr Nuhu S. Pam highlighted some of the achievements of the association which includes the donation of e-library and offer of scholarship to indigent children. Mr Pam commended former Senate minority leader Senator Simon Mwadkwon for his laudable intervention by constructing 9 units of classroom in the school, also commended were Senator ID Gyang for the construction of 500 capacity examination hall. Da Arc Pam Dung Gyang was also applauded for the provision of 300 KVA transformation to the school. Mr Pam specially appreciated WUNATO BESA and Berom Community in North America for renovating a block of classroom each.
Delivering his sermon on the need for unity, Bishop Toma Bitrus encouraged all members of the alumni to unite towards a common goal of developing their alma mater as doing otherwise will not yield any positive result.
Speaking on the theme for the reunion, Mr Joshua Mwadkwon buttressed on the importance digital application in all of human endeavours, he stressed that for anyone to remain relevant in contemporary world, digital techniques must be embraced.
Proprietor of the school and BECO President Worldwide, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop took time to give a background of the journey so far from when he took saddle in 2019, he said the school through his leadership has recorded several interventions which had translated into school enrollment. Da Gyang Dudu expressed concern over his dream towsrds making the school a college of education technical to satisfy the technological need of the Berom youths. He used the opportunity to introduce a group of ladies known as “Prestigious Ladies” who were on his entourage to identify with the school by donating sanitary and writing materials for students use.

Goodwill mesaages were received from Gwom Kwi, Da Dung Jangwok representative of Da Arc Pam Dung Gyang and the school principal.
