The Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO), happily rejoices with our daughter, Miss Jane Kangyang Pwajok, on her victory at the recently conducted Students Union Government election, of the prestigious University of Jos. This victory is a vivid demonstration of the resilience and dexterity of the winner.

By this victory Miss Kangyang Pwajok becomes the second female SUG President of the University and, the first to do so through direct election. The first occupant (Ene Obi) initially elected as the Vice President, came in through an impeachment of the then President. This makes Kangyang’s emergence a historic event, worth celebrating.

BECO urges the in-coming leader to strive to leave a lasting legacy of dedication, selflessness and inclusiveness in leadership of her vibrant constituency. Be rest assured that we at the BECO Secretariat shall stand with you in prayers, trusting God for the enablement to deliver on your historic mandate.
