BEROM MUSLIM COMMUNITY OF JOS NORTH ROUNDS UP SALLAH CELEBRATION WITH A LUNCHEON

Today 13th of April 2024, history was again recorded as Berom Muslim Community of of Jos North LGA hosted the Berom nation to a luncheon tagged “So nshi”, the luncheon which held at old Gbong Gwom Jos Palace Jos is first of its kind, the intention of the organizers was to climax the Ramadan period with brothers and sisters in a grand style.

In his Welcome address, the Chairman of Berom Muslim Community in Jos North, Da Yakubu Pam Isa was excited with the turn up of guests to the occasion, he encouraged all guests to relax for a warm experience of its kind.

In his usual form of charging the atmosphere, BECO President Worldwide, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop spoke passionately on the unity of Berom all around the world, he said the occasion is central and a pointer to sending a message that Berom people are lovers of peace cherish everyone regardless of their faith inclination. He made a call to all Berom Muslims to sustain the spirit of togetherness.

Welcoming guests on behalf of BECO Jos North, Associate Professor Davou D. Nyam appreciated Berom Muslim Community for putting on a awesome event of this kind.

Although the event was basically to wine and dine but not void of goodwill messages/donations from dignatories and such as Hon Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Da Barr. Peter Nyam Gai, Hon Commissioner for Transport, Rw Davou J. Gyang, representative of Gwom Kabong, Da, Dadung Jok, Gwom Turu, Da Ezekiel Dalyop, Gwom Utan, Da Stevie Mancha, Makama Jos, Alh Mansur Nakande, and the chief host, Walin Jos, Da Yakubu Dalyop. Jos North Berom traditional women dance group thrilled guests with rousing Berom tunes while guests were entertained with a buffet to climax the event.

All the speakers harps on unity of faith, emphasizing that God created us Berom before our various religious affiliations.
