The Berom Educational and Cultural Organization (BECO), the apex sociocultural organization of the Berom worldwide, notes with utmost satisfaction and appreciation, the excellent and high display of rare professionalism in career ethics, both in lifestyles and at work, by the officers and men of the recently deployed State Security Service, in Barkin Ladi LGA.

We have followed with keen interest, unbelievable admiration and full conviction, the decisive moves and authoritative deployment of counter-terrorism measures by these officers and men.
For the first time in over two decades, our farmers in Nding, village of Fan District are able to work on their farms, near the defunct poultry farm, at the Ropp-Fan boundary. This is attributable to the ingenuity and expertise of the officers and men on ground.

We note with total satisfaction that for some time now, violent attacks on our defenseless communities in Barkin Ladi LGA, have greatly reduced.
We are however not unaware of the evil and satanic devices of the merchants of violence, who have enveloped the landscape of the local government and, who will not stop until they kill or displace all the indigenes to take over the land. They’re not happy with the progress being achieved.

Hitherto, these terrorists, their sponsors and their hardos have worked themselves into the unenviable position to decide what is done or not done, here .They will intentionally destroy farmlands and at the same time, decide what paltry compensation to be paid, for the losses incurred. This has stopped forthwith, as the DSS approach has put an end to this wicked practice.

We are therefore not at all, taken in by the flimsy, but well circulated complaints, agitations and protestations, from Fulani conflict entrepreneurs, making spurious allegations against the DSS in the local government. This is predictively the way of the fulani terrorists, but it must not be taken seriously, as usual.
The destroy-what-cannot-be controlled, attitude of the Fulani is at play. Because they have so far failed to penetrate the rank and file of the DSS, these murderers have resorted to falsehood, blackmail and character assassination.

It must fail at all costs and by all means. The allegations are nowhere a reflection of the professionalism, expertise and sense of integrity of the DSS operatives on ground.
Nigeria owes these young men all the encouragement, motivation and support to enhance their performance. These young and enterprising men are churning results in trying environments and moments,where they are currently.

We must not allow false propagandists to always have their way with their fake narratives of being above the law.
We are glad that the leadership of the Barkin Ladi Local Government invested in this result-oriented strategy, that has greatly reduced the unseen human carnage, that has characterized our sorrowful existence for over two decades now. We urge the Council to do more in terms of support to the DSS to ensure a comfortable operational environment.

BECO calls on our communities to support, cooperate and assist the security agents with vital information on all suspicious moves or persons, or with any information possible, that will facilitate the return of peace to our communities.
