History was yet again made at BECO Comprehensive High School Kwi as His majesty, the Gbong Jos Da Jacob Gyang Buba commissions a block of laboratory and two block of three classroom each renovated and constructed by Berom elite group : WUNATO BESA and Hon Dr Simon Mwadkon PhD respectively. His majesty eulogizes WUNATO BESA for being outstanding in the land, he admonished the school students to be serious with their studies as they are potential leaders of tomorrow that the next generation will look after. The league of friends have been consistent with their support to the school.

The Gbong Gwom Jos pleaded with politicians to play the game of politics with maturity and love devoid of rancor and back biting. He constituted a think tank which will work towards salvaging the land to include WUNATO BESA, BECO, BEWDA, BYM, BEMFO, and a coalition of Berom lawyers.

It will be recalled a group of friends popularly known as WUNATO BESA embarked on renovation of six classroom block last year which was commissioned by his Majesty. The group through its Chairman Da Austin Dalyop explained to his Majesty how dear the school is to their hearts, he said they will not stop at anything until they succeed in giving the school a face lift. Da Austin appreciated the effort of every member of the group for their sacrifices.

Explaining the technicalities of the project, Engr Jang Tanko, Jarman Jos gave a breakdown of the project as well as the total cost the group has spent so far in the school which amount to N16m.

Speaking in appreciation of the gesture, the proprietor of the school who is also a member of the revered group, BECO President worldwide Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop expressed joy to the group for showing special interest in the school. He said gesture such as this has boosted the school’s student enrollment.

Hon Simon Mwadkon explained to the delight of his majesty that he is including another six classroom blocks in this year’s budget as part of his continued support to the school.

Also to be commissioned was five (5) units of solar light project executes by BECO through the each one reach one project.

Goodwill messages were received from Da Jonah Madugu who is also a patron to the group, Da Arch Pam dung Gyang, Hon Edward Pwajok SAN, Hon Timothy Dantong.

The Gwom Rwei Riyom gave a closing remark, he appreciated WUNATO BESA and other donors for making proper use of their God given positions in society. He thanked BECO President for pioneering the dream of revamping the school.
