The President Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO) worldwide, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop led a high powered delegation on a “Thank you” visit to Jos South Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Amb Gideon Dung Dandereng at the council secretariat.
The President described Dandereng as a true and passionate Berom son who has distinguished himself by standing side by side the organization through thick and thin. The President appreciated the council boss for all the support he has rendered to BECO which is undeniably the best and unequal.
Da Gyang Dudu also described Hon Dandereng as “Friend of BECO”. He saluted his courage in his political sojourn and urged him to be steadfast and firm in his future endeavors.
BECO President worldwide used the opportunity to announce to the Chairman that the entire EXCO of BECO is seeking reelection and therefore solicit for his support.
Responding, Hon. Amb Gideon Dandereng said he is humbled by the visit, he said he is first a Berom man before any political party affiliation. Dandereng frown at how some politicians creates and nurture bitterness against one another because of party differences. He described partisanship as a means of seeking for resources for the benefit of the nationality.
The council boss promised to continue to give his unalloyed support to BECO and other Recognized Berom Organizations (RBOs) towards the building and sustenance of the dignity of the Berom nation. Dandereng said the present EXCO deserves another turn to consolidate on the already achieved gains.
