Recalled His Majesty the Gbong Gwom Jos,  Da Jacob Gyang Buba constituted a Relief, Rehabilitation and Ressetlement Committee to turn around the plight of all IDPs in Berom land. The committee’s mandate and objective is to provide succor through the sourcing of relief materials and also to fashion a way out towards their ressetlement to their various homes.

Since its inauguration,  the committee ably led by the Gwom Rwey Vwang, Da Gyang Balak has since lived up to its objective, as many donors have visited it with various form of relief materials ranging from clothing, shoes, bags, beddings, detergent etc.

Latest of such donors include Miss Chatong Pam Yusuf who of her benevolence donated a bag full of used clothes for onward delivery to the IDPs,
Also registering his name in the list of donors, Mr Moses Danjuma Bot from Foron donated two bags of used clothes for the IDPs.
Receiving the items on behalf of the committee, Rex Cheng appreciated them for the gesture, he assured them that all acts of kindness to humanity is kindness to God. He prayed to God to multiply them richly.

It’s important to emphasize the untold trauma our IDPs have experienced in the wake of the 21st century terrorism which has ravaged our communities with severe impact on Gwol and Riyom LGAs. Much has been donated as relief materials, but much is needed in the area of ressetlement which is our primary goal now. I therefore want to use this medium to call on Berom sons and daughters,  home and in diaspora to consider this need with utmost concern.

Let me thank specially all those who have already donated relief materials to this committee from its inception, the Lord bless and increase you.
