The founding fathers of the Berom Educational and cultural organization (BECO) conceived a vision, they were hitherto determined to champion it to perpetuity. That vision has so grown living remarkable imprints and indelible mark on soil, PEOPLE and society.
It’s unambiguously clear that we as a people have entrenched culture, education and unity of the land through the advancement of PEOPLE oriented programmes and campaigns.
Today, there’s a determined zeal to build on the already existing foundation of BECO by the Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop led EXCO, in the midst of numerous distractions, a visible consistency in the vision of its founding fathers can be seen in pursuit. Someone once said, “One of difficult thing to do is taking up leadership role in Berom land”. If we examine this phrase painstakingly, we would like find an element of truth in it. To further understand this statement, we will have to trace the essence of this challenge, could it be cultural or otherwise?
Tomorrow they say belongs to those who planned for it,the burning question at the moment is “Are the Berom PEOPLE ready to follow the laid down foundation for BECO which is superbly designed to give us a headway tomorrow? What’s your perception of BECO as a Berom person? How prepared are we to stand side by side with our contemporaries in the nearest future?
Truth be told, no nation rises or falls without a plan, you either plan to do something or you plan not to do anything, the resultant effect is obvious in any of the scenario.
Leadership in Berom land must be overhauled with a determination to advance a cause for the future generation, if we fail to do that, posterity will act accordingly.
The time to think and act is absolutely NOW.
