A Jos based Non Governmental agency is set to create awareness in the functions and relevance of NGOs in a fast-changing and modernising society like Plateau state.
The organisation known as CSO Academy, made its intention real with the training of 10 participants recently. The training which held at Tadow House Rayfield, lasted from 15-19 January, 2024.
The training was very intensive, with great emphasis on the basic operations of an NGO. Participants will were not only equipped with the requisite information on how to work with NGO, but on starting and running one, successfully.
A total of ten participants attended the program, out of which number, the Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO), sponsored six. These included Miss Esther Dalyop, Miss Patience Danjuma, Miss Mercy Chuwang, Miss Juliette Jok, Barr Habila Tawal and Rex Cheng. The participants appreciated the BECO President Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop for the kind gesture of capacity building, they promised to make good use of the skill acquired.
With the training it’s hoped that new and well informed hands will soon join the Civil Society world, with a view to positively impacting the space.
