The Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO), received with the rudest shock the news of the death of one of its most committed members and an illustrious son of the Berom nation, Da Daniel Bature Shok, AIG (rtd). This sad event came on the heels of the Commissioning of renovated blocks of classrooms at the BECO Comprehensive High school Kwi, last week, by His Majesty the Gbong Gwom Jos Da Jacob Gyang Buba, where the late Dan was in attendance, looking very hale and hearty.

While we accept that death is an appointment all mortals will keep, we are all the same, most pained and devastated by this very sad development.
We pray God to comfort his immediate family, the Berom nation, Plateau state and the country at large. May the good lord rest his gentle soul in perfect peace. Sleep on Dan Bature…
