Educational and Cultural Organization wish to tender its sincere appreciation to the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for signing into law the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) bill. This has brought about the establishment of the Commission. Our waiting period which had appeared endless is now ended and with it a new phase of life for all communities of this geo-political region.

The North Central zone is a region with the largest reserves of solid minerals, rich agricultural land and other natural resources. It is also worth noting that these resources have remained largely untapped or marginally exploited. The coming on board of the Commission will harmonize the exploitation and utilization of these resources for the good of our people. 

We passionately appeal to the President to appoint men and women of impeccable integrity and unquestionable character, to head the Commission, in order to meet the yearning needs of the region.
