The President Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO) world-wide Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop alongside other members of his EXCO paid a condolence visit to the family of immediate past Chairman of BECO Gyel district Da Yohanna Dih Jok who passed away on the 14th November, 2023 after a protracted illness according to a family source.
Da Gyang Dudu said he came in contact with the deceased when they took over the leadership of BECO in 2019, he eulogised the deceased and described him as a perfect and truthful gentleman full of integrity throughout the discharge of his duty as district Chairman of Gyel.
While expressing shock over the news of the past Chairman, Da Gyang Dudu prayed God to grant divine comfort to the family, Gyel district as well as Berom nation. He encouraged the deceased wife to take solace in God who is ever present in times of need to wipe the tears in their eyes.
Responding on behalf of the family, elder brother to the deceased, Da Rev. Samuel Dih Jok regrets that he has to miss his younger brother at this time. He however emphasized that the family is consoled by the show of love and soothing condolence message from BECO. Rev Jok described how instrumental his brother was to the family and Gyel district, he described late Yohanna as a very dedicated and hardworking person, but the will of God cannot be questioned.
The funeral arrangement will be announced by the family in a later date.
