The President Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO) worldwide Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop led other EXCO members on a condolence visit to the family of late monarch, The Mishkaham Mwaghavul Da Nelson Bakfur at his hometown Kerang in Mangu LGA.
Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop told his host that BECO on behalf all Berom sons and daughters both home and in the diaspora identifies with the entire Mwaghavul nation and pray God to comfort the immediate family, Mwaghavul traditional council, Plateau state and Nigeria, he eulogised the royal father by describing him as a peace builder and lover of his people.
Receiving the condolence letter and also reacting on behalf of the traditional council, HRH, The Sum Pyem Mr Charles Mato appreciated BECO for the solidarity and show of love, he thanked the Berom nation for always setting the pace on the Plateau. The Sum Pyem also used the opportunity to thank all and sundry who prayed for his quick release from captivity, he called on security agents to step up their game. Also present alongside the Sum Pyem were all the district heads that make up traditional council of Mangu LGA.
Other BECO executives who made the visit were the Vice President and the Secretary General as well as Rex Cheng a secretariat staff.
