The President Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO) worldwide, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop paid an on the spot visit to BECO comprehensive high school Kwi to assess the level of work at the ongoing renovation of laboratory being undertaken by a group of illustrious Berom sons – WUNATO BESA, it will be recalled this same group has since completed the renovation of one block which was commissioned early in the year by His Majesty the Gbong Gwom Jos Da Jacob Gyang Buba.
The President made a passionate appeal to all Berom sons and daughters to intervene in any way possible such as fencing, provision of school bus, welfare for staff etc.
Da Gyang dudu Dalyop appreciates the effort Engr. Sam Chundusu who is currently handling the electrification of school community. He said this and many more interventions will go a long way in alleviating the plight of the school.
The President made a call to all those made promises in one way or the other to kindly endeavour to fulfil those promises.
In his response, the school acting principal expressed his gratitude to BECO leadership led by Da Gyang dudu Dalyop and all those who have contributed in various ways towards giving the school a facelift. He told the President that significant improvement in school enrolment has been achieved as a result of new developments in the school. He specifically noted that the students number has risen from 136 to 251 within the short period.
Also speaking on the need for a holistic approach, some members on the entourage of the President challenged the entire Berom sons and daughters especially the political class to have a consideration of the school in their plans for the land.
