The Berom Educational and Cultural Organization
(BECO) is fully in the picture of the deliberate and wicked characterization of the Berom nation as a militia, threatening the peace of the National Institute, Kuru, as well as linking the recent security breaches at the institution, to demand for land compensation by the Berom.

We note with satisfaction the consequent reaction and deliberate responses of our people and other patriots of the Plateau. We are highly encouraged with the way our people have amply demonstrated our total rejection of the mischaracterization which is intentional, deliberate and calculated to achieve a particular goal.

BECO wishes to notify our people that we are on the matter, studying the situation, seeking legal counsel and other actionable steps to be taken to formally compel the DG not only to retract the said profiling but to ensure that the misdemeanor is never repeated in the future.

We are aware that plans have reached an advanced stage to relocate the institute to a state in the South West geo-political zone, but reject in totality, any attempt to destroy our identity rooted in integrity, peace, accommodating as a naturally cultured people, to achieve the devilish motive.
