The Berom People of Riyom, Plateau State

Riyom is a predominantly Berom (Birom) area in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. The Berom people of Riyom have deep ancestral roots in the area and maintain their language, traditional institutions, customs and cultural heritage. Riyom is one of the major centres of Berom cultural identity in Plateau State.
