The Berom People of Jos North, Plateau State

Jos North is historically and culturally significant to the Berom (Birom) people, particularly in communities around the Jos metropolis. The Berom are indigenous to the Jos Plateau and have long-standing ancestral, cultural and traditional connections to the area. They maintain their Berom language, customs, traditions and cultural heritage alongside other ethnic communities living in Jos North today.
