The Berom People of Fan, Barkin Ladi

Fan is a predominantly Berom (Birom) community in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. The people have deep ancestral roots in the Jos Plateau and maintain the Berom language, traditional customs, cultural practices and ancestral heritage. Fan is part of the wider Berom communities that have historically inhabited the Barkin Ladi area.
