The President, Berom Educational and cultural organization (BECO) worldwide, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop led other members of the executive to commiserate with the family of late Da Musa Bot-Fang, describing his death as colossal loss to the Berom nation, having involved in key transformational roles for the land. Eulogies were poured in by BECO’s Secretary General, Da Chollom Gyang as detailed in a condolence letter signed by him. Condolence message is as below:
“The Berom Educational and Cultural Organization (BECO), received with utmost shock and pain, the very sad news of the death of Da Musa Chuwang Bot-Fang. The pain, shock and devastation will certainly last for a long time, in view of the caliber of the man, MC Bot-Fang, to us in the BECO and entire Beromland.
Until his painful exit Da Bot-Fang was a man of many parts, highly gifted and talented, having played many roles in the development and growth of education, culture and arts of the Berom. He was a consummate educationist, teacher, loving husband and father, versatile Master of Ceremony, spanning many decades. He was there at the start of the Nzem Berom, as the pioneer MC, a role he played for many years after.
Da Bot-Fang was a member of the Executive Committee as well as the Central Working Committee of the BECO, playing many key roles in all the organizations in the land, over the years. It will not be possible to correctly document the achievements and contributions of the deceased. Suffice it say however, that the land has lost one of its outstanding patriots. His memory will last for decades to come, because his name will remain a legacy to behold.
BECO truly mourns the demise of Da Bot-Fang, one of our resource persons in the development of Berom literature/curriculum and other instructional materials for teaching in the Mother Tongue, in secondary schools, in Plateau state. We pray God almighty to rest his gentle soul and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Responding on behalf of the family, brother to the deceased Da Chollom Bot-Fang appreciated BECO leadership for the show of love, he said the family is comforted by the act.
